January 31-February 9

We spent the weekend of Jan. 31 in Keystone with a group of friends. Our friends Molly and Tom brought their 6 month old daughter Ella. She and Aaron had a really good time together! He decided that he really liked her pink ball, so I found him a blue one this week. (The kids held hands on their own.)

Aaron fell asleep on the floor wearing his bear suit.
He loves to read books with his babysitter's daughter. They live next door to us.
Our friends Ryan and Katie came over for dinner last week with their son who is two and their 11 week old daughter.
Aaron was hanging out with me while I cooked dinner.
Unfortunately, the pics end here because our house has had cooties since last Friday. Aaron and I have had the stomach flu and are almost fully recovered now! We managed to infect our friend Deron too. So far, Cooper has been very lucky but has had to work from home to play Mr. Mom to a sick little boy.

16 Weeks

We gave Aaron his first rice cereal over the weekend. As you can see, it didn't go particularly well...
We went out to dinner at our favorite spot in Golden on Friday night-Tequilas. Aaron wore his new sweater Uncle Mick gave him.

Aaron has started laughing A LOT. EVERYTHING is funny. Cooper managed to catch it on film.
He fell asleep in his gym with his hands over his head. I guess he is not so much into working out.

MLK Weekend in Estes Park

We spent 3 days in Estes Park for the long weekend. We skinned up the old ski resort at Hidden Valley in Rocky Mountain National Park on Saturday. Aaron went along in his Chariot. We learned why it is far more suitable for cross country skiing. The pictures have been censored to protect the grandparents, but he slept the entire way and we had a great time. On Sunday, we went snowshoeing in Rocky Park. Cooper carried Aaron in the Baby Bjorn. I had Monday off for MLK Day, which also happened to be my birthday. We went skiing at Eldora. It was a really good weekend.

15 Weeks-January

We went to Glenwood Springs to visit and ski. We went skiing at Snowmass and Sunlight. Aaron took a nap on the couch in the lodge.

Aaron got a new excersaucer for Christmas. He is quite busy in it, but still a bit small for it.

He has learned how to stick his toungue out in response to us doing it.

Best Family Christmas Reunion

Our first stop in Texas was in Abilene and Tuscola to see Cooper's family. It was really cold for Texas, but the kids still had a lot of fun playing outside. Next year, Aaron will be able to join them. These are pictures of a few of the many family members that Aaron got to meet.

December...

Aaron's Grandpa Best flew in from Texas for a visit. We had a relaxing weekend in Golden.

Cooper and I took Aaron to get his picture taken with Santa on Wednesday night.

These are just some random pics from the past couple of weeks:

Aaron got a new 'Bumbo' chair. He is still a bit 'unsteady' in it.
