We went to Chuck's Cabin, a hut near Vail Pass this weekend. There were several kids who were "towed in". Some of the people had snowmobiles to tow in the gear. There was a lot of snow for May. The hut was total luxury compared to most of the backcountry places we have been to. It had running water and electricity!

Our "campsite" in the middle of nowhere
We spent a great Spring weekend in Moab, Ut. The weather was perfect. We did some desert crack climbing, managed to get our brand new climbing rope stuck, went on a beautiful hike in Kane Creek Canyon, played in the water, and camped in the middle of nowhere.
We got our second storm of the season this weekend. There was not near as much snow as the first one, but it was enough to take Aaron sledding. He was a little tired from his busy Sunday consisting of a haircut and a bottom tooth coming in, but he seemed to have fun. His snow suit fits much better this year, since his first time to wear it last year was when he was 7 weeks old and cross country skiing with Mom and Dad.

We took Aaron to the pumpkin farm for Halloween yesterday. He had a lot of fun seeing the bunnies, kitties, goats, cows, sheep, horses, and pumpkins. He loves animals, but his favorite word is "doggie", so every animal at the farm was a "doggie". He loved riding in the red wagon.
We haven't been able to post to the blog lately, but we wanted to share some pictures of his first birthday and some random pictures from the past few months.
