Aaron's First Birthday!

We haven't been able to post to the blog lately, but we wanted to share some pictures of his first birthday and some random pictures from the past few months.


Aaron got a "big boy car seat" from Oma and Papa for his birthday. He is so happy to be out of his infant seat.Dad got Aaron a soccer ball.Uncle Mick flew in from Boston for Aaron's birthday. He helped him blow out his candle. He got lots of new books. He really loves books.We went out for Mexican food. Aaron wore his #1 birthday hat and "Mi Primer Cupleanos" bib that Uncle Mick brought. It was perfect.We went on a hike in Golden Gate State Park. It was cold!Aaron is crawling very fast now!

Independence Pass

We camped out on Independence Pass near Aspen last weekend. We also did some rock climbing up there. Aaron had a good time in his Johnny Jump Up at camp. It was a little cold at night, but he slept very well in his sleeping bag in the tent.

Summer Update

We have not posted many pictures this summer, but we have had a good one. Aaron and I spent several days in Houston in June. My parents came to Colorado in July for a trip to Estes Park.
We have been doing a lot of camping, hiking, and rock climbing. Here are a few pictures from some of our adventures...

Camping in Wyoming

We went camping and climbing in Wyoming over the weekend. It rained some, but we had a good time. Aaron got to hike with Mom and snooze at the cliffs in his Pack 'N Play that Daddy and Deron carried in. He loves to watch the campfire and he sleeps well in the tent.

Uncle Mick's Graduation Weekend in Boston

We spent last weekend in Boston to celebrate my brother's graduation from Suffolk Law School and his passing The Bar! Aaron did o.k. on the plane and seemed to enjoy all of the craziness in the airports. We had a great trip!
