Thankgiving in the Mountains

We spent Thanksgiving up in the Leadville area. We stayed in a client's condo and cooked a non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We skied at Copper Mountain on Thanksgiving Day and cross country skied around Turquoise Lake on Friday. Aaron got to test out his new cross country set up on his Chariot. It worked very well and he was easy to tow (Even for Mom!) We decided to come back a little early and Cooper, Deron, and Kramer built a snowman in the yard since we got about 4 inches of snow here in Golden.

Aaron has started smiling at us. It is difficult to catch on film, but we tried to capture a few good ones.

November Traveling

Aaron and I spent several days traveling with Cooper for work in Western Colorado. Aaron decided that he really liked the Double Tree in Grand Junction.


When we got back it was cold, so Aaron had to put on his snow suit to go on a walk.


On Sunday, we took Aaron on a hike up North Table Mountain in Golden.

All of that hiking made him tired.
And finally a bath by Mom to finish off the day.

First Ski Day 2008 @ Copper Mountain

We went to Copper to ski on Wednesday with one of Cooper's clients and his wife. Aaron went along and hung out in the lodge while Mom and Dad took turns making some turns on the November Icy Ribbon of Death. He had a good time and did very well. As soon as he is able to walk he will have skis of his own and will be out-skiing Mom in no time!



And after a long day at the slopes...

Chloe clearly thinks that Aaron's new gym is for cats.

Hanging out at the motel in Glenwood Springs over the weekend...

One Month Old!

Our friends Matt and Jenny were in town from Glenwood Springs this weekend. We went to free day at the Denver Zoo on Sunday. Aaron slept through most of it, but we still had a good time. He was one month old yesterday, which is hard to believe!


Aaron also got a new "gym" this weekend, which he seems to really like.

1st Halloween

We had three different outfits for Halloween, so we put all of them on at some point between spit up sessions. We spent Halloween night at The Ekeren's house. Aaron was a dalmatian. Uncle Mick gave Aaron some super cool Converse shoes. Since he has big feet, he was able to wear them already. Our first Halloween was a success.
