False Alarm # 1-Week 39

We were told to come into the hospital on Friday afternoon by the nurses on the phone. We spent several hours there, but were sent home to wait it out. Apparently, this could be a long process!

The weekend was spent with lots of walks, movies, and resting. When Cooper gets bored he cooks and bakes, so Mini-Cooper and I are well fed. :) We also drove up to the state park in Golden to take some pictures of the leaves changing on the Aspens. I started a scrapbook for the baby, which I clearly have a lot of help on from the cats.

Let's hope this baby decides t
o make his entrance soon. I have decided not to work anymore, but after his due date, I'm out of vacation days!

38 Weeks and Waiting

Our friend Deron came down from Eagle, CO for the day with his dog Kramer. Kramer has visited many times and is quite kind to the cats. Our little gray lion, Zela, was in the yard on his leash (Yes, the cats have leashes and harnesses) with Kramer and put on quite a display of nastiness towards the Big Brown Monster.

My co-worker gave the baby her son's first Halloween costume-A dalmatian onsie. Our friend David was trying it on.

Northcutt Family Visit in July 08

My parents came for a week in July to visit, spend a weekend in Estes Park, and help set up the nursery with new furniture for the upcoming arrival. The nursery is all ready to go and the cats have been pretty good about staying out of the crib thanks to spraying them with water when they show an interest in doing so! Because I am such a "planner", the car seat is in the car and we are "ready"!

Labor Day Weekend

35 Weeks! We spent a night in Estes Park for Labor Day Weekend. We stayed in a cabin with a fabulous recliner and went for a walk around the wheelchair accessible Lily Lake. We had another ultrasound on Tuesday (5th one-definitely a boy!) and finished our preparation classes at the hospital.
